These guidelines help the Learning Loop community stay productive and healthy.

Comments are allowed and encouraged.

“Founder-only”

Learning Loop is open to currently full-time startup founders (or currently part-time founders who have at least 1 full-time co-founder).

At the moment the community isn’t open to aspiring founders, ex-founders or exited founders. This is to ensure privacy, quality and availability. As we go, we will have dedicated networks for those groups, and design the future experience to allow cross-over between networks.

There is more to being a founder than startup knowledge, experience and expertise. There is something about being in the zone and the struggle of waking up with a certain amount of fear, stress, uncertainty and hope, that influences how members in a private network interact and exchange information. Context, and not content, is the most important asset in a social network like Learning Loop.

Privacy

Learning Loop for founders is a founder-only community, and a safe space for founders to open up to each other, whether it’s about professional or personal matters.

To keep this a safe place, it’s important that we keep what is shared in the community and on the app private.

Screenshots, recordings or quoting conversations isn’t allowed unless with explicit consent of every founder present in the conversation.

Respect

Stay respectful towards the other founders in the community, the founders outside of the community, as well as the other members of the industry (investors, advisors, employees, regulators, etc.)

No advertising

It is great to let other founders know what you do, but don’t promote your business and services unless other founders explicitly asked you about it.

No hateful speech

We’re a diverse and global community. Hateful comments (verbal or written) towards groups, ethnicities or religious beliefs are not acceptable.
