We are on a mission to help 1 billion people succeed in career and life. Learning Loop’s vision is to build a peer-to-peer coaching app that hosts meaningful and additive weekly live conversations for 1 billion people, based on what’s top of mind for each person.

Our MVP is a social app built out of Slack, where founders get 2 things:

1. A resourceful and helpful community of founders who share what’s top of mind for them actively and deeply
2. An accountability group of 3 with weekly calls and conversation prompts

About the Role

We are looking for a UX Engineer to join our team. This role is a unique opportunity to blend the creative aspects of UX design with the technical challenges of software engineering. You will work closely with our founder to build user-friendly web applications that are as aesthetically pleasing as they are functional.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the founder to design and implement UI/UX designs that are functional, and user-friendly
• Develop and maintain high-quality, robust, and scalable code for our platform.
• Use your understanding of UX human interaction design and principles to recommend improvements and influence product direction.
• Conduct user research to better understand our users' needs, behaviours, and emotions and translate these insights into product improvements.
• Maintain a component library to ensure consistency across our platform.
• Perform QA tests and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Be a Learning Loop evangelist online and offline

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
